Teachers, Let’s Plan the Summer YOU Deserve (+ A Free Training Inside)
IN THIS EMAIL:
Some Thoughts on Why Summer PD Should Matter
Access to Resource Roundup Training from last summer (with timestamps and resource links)!
A request for you to PLEASE reply to this email with what YOU want to learn this summer!
I’m going to take the top responses and offer virtual summer PD sessions on them! And/or I’ll create courses on them! WHATEVER I CAN DO TO HELP!!
What is up you BEAUTIFUL TEACHERS!
Let’s go ahead and jump into it like expert bungee jumpers…
Why Summer Trainings Shouldn’t be a Waste of Time
Have you ever sat through a 6 hours summer PD sesh, and as you’re walking to your car at the end you have this thought…
I just wasted 6 hours of my life.
That stinks like dumpster cheese and I would like to formally apologize on behalf of PD sessions everywhere.
But why we even need to do those summer PD things?
For most states, they’re paid contract days, so it allows you to make more money (which is cool).
Research says that teachers who keep learning and growing see their students more engaged and experience that sweet, sweet personal satisfaction of LEADING BY EXAMPLE! 🎉
When you try out new teaching strategies and reflect on your craft, you don’t just level up your students—you reignite the passion for why you started teaching in the first place. It also helps that you get a few days to chill between the sessions, instead of going straight back into a classroom!
But let’s be honest with ourselves like the end of every Disney movie: summer PD (professional development) can be a snoozefest-a-pa-looza. 😴
You know the kind—the “one-size-fits-none” kind that makes you wish you’d just stayed home and binge-watched the entire Harry Potter series for the 9th time (no shame, I literally go to sleep listening to the audiobooks #truelove).
This summer, I’d love your help in flipping that script!
We’re building PD that’s all about YOU—practical, powerful, and personalized to what actually matters in your classroom. Together, we’re gonna create a roadmap for growth that fuels you up instead of draining your energy like a lukewarm bathtub! 🚀
Y’all, I’m pumped to hear your ideas and hopefully integrate as many as possible! Let’s make this summer about growth AND try to make it fun along the way! 🙌
Love y’all for real.

RESOURCE ROUNDUP VIRTUAL TRAINING (for free!)
Every summer, I get the opportunity to work with teachers at their schools and at conferences, but I also LOVE doing virtual trainings to help teachers level up (and to knock out their required PD hours from the comfort of their home).
Last summer, we did 6 virtual trainings (3 hours each), and in this lil email of wonder, I wanted to give you access to the training called Resource Round-Up! It’s packed with strategies and tools to make teaching a little easier, walk through some of my free templates, and hopefully save you TIMEEEE!!

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO LEARN SUMMER 2025?
But that’s not all, folks!
I’m in the process of planning new virtual trainings for this summer, and I want to make sure they’re exactly what you need.
Who gets access to the trainings?
Honor Roll Members (if you’re buying it yourself)
I’ll create PD Packs (like these) for schools to purchase!
WHAT I’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU:
What’s your biggest frustration during the year?
What would help you thrive as an educator?
What trainings would you want this summer?
Just hit “Reply” to this and be as quick or as detailed as you want!!
I’ll review every response, and the most-requested topics will help shape this summer’s workshops!
Let’s make this the BEST SUMMER EVER!!
Much love,
Dr. T
P.S. If you DO want access to all the virtual trainings/conferences I’ve ever done, but you DON’T want to join the Honor Roll, then you can have your school buy you full access (150+ hours)!!
P.S.S. Forward this to any teacher and/or admin BFFs who could use it! Let’s keep building a community of growth-minded educators that NEVER STOP LEARNING!
Lemme know if you’d rather me come speak/train in person at your school this summer! THAT’S EVEN BETTER imo!
Love y’all byeeeeeee!!
